Terms of use

In short: fscl calculates, it doesn't advise. These terms make that formal.

What fscl is

fscl is a calculation tool for Belgian freelancers — with a company, as sole proprietor or as a side business. The tool shows how the net outcome per channel plays out tax-wise, based on dated, published parameters (rates, ceilings and thresholds) with their sources cited.

No tax advice

fscl provides no tax, legal or accounting advice. The outcome is a transparent calculation with its substantiation — meant to be discussed with your accountant or adviser. You make decisions together with them, not on the basis of this tool alone.

Belgian tax law changes regularly. We track every parameter and date it, with its source. Verify the figures for your situation and put the outcome next to your accountant's advice.

The free calculator

The calculator is free, requires no account and runs entirely in your browser (see the privacy policy). It is provided “as is”, without warranties.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of fscl or from decisions based on its calculations. This does not affect any rights you are mandatorily entitled to as a consumer.

Intellectual property

The software, design and texts of fscl are protected. You may use the calculator freely and share the results; copying or reselling the tool itself is not permitted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes are brought before the Antwerp Enterprise Court, Antwerp division.

fscl is operated by Fousa BV, Familie Vercammenstraat 1/11, 2650 Edegem, RPR Antwerpen, BTW BE 0780.915.524 (Belgium), hello@fousa.be.
